We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed New Years Eve at El Moscatel.  The menu was really great and the whole atmosphere and entertainment was very enjoyable making it a very special evening for us.

We will look forward to our next visit.

In the meantime our very best wishes to you both for 2008.

Kind regards

Chris & Jacqui Hutton-Penman

Hallo,

And thank you for a very good dinner. Our group had dinner in four different restaurants during our days in Sabinillas and everyone said that your restaurant was number one.

Regards,

Anders Hagner

We called in the other lunchtime and despite electricity problems caused by the heavy rain we had a very enjoyable meal.
It is one of our favorites in the area.

Went to El Moscatel in early March and had a fabulous meal.

I would go again in a flash if I were still in Spain.

Dear Ninke and Mark,

We thoroughly enjoyed the food which was top quality and original, the wine was excellent and the service very good, this is our main reason for coming back. We enjoyed the jazz trio which was perfectly presented with the choice of menu complimenting the music. The price was very fair for what we received.

Look forward to seeing you soon, especially our visits in the summer when sitting eating, drinking wine, and relaxing in lovely surroudings.

Regards,
John and Rachel

I used to frequent Le Mani, i always found Mark and Ninke's presentation , quality and knowledge of food and wine to be of an extremely high standard. However the small premises in Sabillinas held them back, it was not user friendly and was difficult to cope with too many covers.
GOOD NEWS !!! I recently visited El Moscatel, the premises are much larger, they have only been there for a few months and there is great potential. Although the premises are much larger they have not lost that personal touch, the size of the kitchen has enabled Mark to employ an assistant in the kitchen, they also have additional help front of the house enabling Ninke to offer her great service and knowledge of wines. Well done to them, they have been working hard for three/four years building a good business and the new premises i feel will help them continue improving. The menu is not vast, but there are enough choices to please most, what you can be assured of is that the ingredients, are fresh and they are delivered with imagination and presentation. Reasonably priced and definately worth a visit.
